Held in Shadow

Mixed media painting on canvas. 32cm x 32cm

Framed

A layered mixed media painting exploring texture and memory through a restrained palette of deep indigo, warm umber, and soft cream. Collaged paper, graphite marks, and translucent washes build a weathered surface punctuated by scraped lines.

Organic shapes and fragmented grids evoke memory and history inviting close inspection to discover hidden details and the interplay between chance and intention.
